Smartforms

1. Is there any STANDARD Smartforms available? when I press f4 in the 'Forms field of tcode SMARTFORMS', i get many forms with prefix like '/smb40_xxxx'. Is these are standard smartforms?

2. When I press f4 in 'forms' field of tcode SMARTFORMS, i get, set of forms, with /smb40_xxxx_A and /smb40_xxxx_L for one transaction data , which one to choose?, the one ending with A is what? the one ending with L is what? what is the diff between them?

3. And I heard that, there are two types of smartforms, like the one with Driver Program and one without it?!

so when we go for with driver prg and, in what situation we write driver pgm?

    Hi,

    1. What ever the smartforms u find with F4 excluding forms start with Z/Y are standard smartforms.

    2. Smartforms is having some naming convetions and the last character may resembles the version.

The increase in Alphabetical order the higher the version it is

    3. Yes in two types we can create smartforms

When ever we don't want to sent the data from SE38 Editor to smartform we go for smart form with out driver program and vice-versa
