EH&S data editor - Logon error

My operating system is Win XP SP2 and I am using SAPGUI 710 Final Release.

When I try to connect to an R/3 system using Data Editor V1_1_16, I get popup EHSRFc --> Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon).

I know I entered the correct password information.

Below is SAPRFC.ini entry:

Any ideas on cause of problem?

Hi,

Data Editor only supports 8 Chars for passwords.

Earlier versions had issues with case sensitivity.

Change your password to < eight lower case letters - let me know if this works....
