Procurement -Quota Arrangements not working for APO type schedule agreement

Hi,

We are working on SAP APO- SPP module. We have defined quota arrangement for procurement. There are 3 suppliers , each given the same quota. We have not mantained anyother settings ( priority etc.)

But schdeules are generated for only one supplier. When we deactivate this supplier, then only the other supplier is used. But on reactivating the first supplier, the original condition resumes.

How do we solve this issue ?

    This is probably why....

"1. The system checks the quota arrangement of the suppliers in the quota arrangement master data. If you have not created a quota arrangement for your suppliers, or if all quota arrangements are equally high, the system continues with step 2. Otherwise, it chooses the supplier with the highest quota arrangement as the main supplier.

    2. The system checks the replenishment lead time of the suppliers in the transportation lane master data. If the replenishment lead times of your suppliers are all the same length, the system continues with step 3. Otherwise, it chooses the supplier with the longest replenishment lead time as the main supplier.

    3. The system checks the internal ID and chooses a supplier as the main supplier. The system does not consider the business background; this process simply ensures that the system always chooses the same supplier as the main supplier.

The checks described above are implemented in the standard system. If you want the system to use another logic, you can implement the Business Add-In BAdI: Enhancement of Source Determination Service (/SAPAPO/BADI_SOURCING)."

      Hi,

SNP tries to fulfill demand as close to demand date as possible, in your case just check if considering the lead time all three suppliers are able to meet demand on time or at the same time.

If all three suppliers are not able to meet the demand on time it will violate quota and procure from the supplier which will meet the demand at the earliest till the time all the suppliers are able to meet the demand on time.

Check if your scenario has the same constraints.

      Thanks,
