Error:Adapter Type Missing in ID...Need of SAP BASIS Software Comp. Version

Hi,

While configuring communication channel I have got an error

"Adapter Type Missing".

I doesn't have SAP BASIS Software Component Version.

Can any one please send me the above component thro mail... vbtrajan@gmail.com?

Hi,

Please search on the Installation Master DVD backup on XI Server. Name will be SAP BASIS 7.00

Difinately u will have that file in the Dump itself.

Otherwise ask your BASIS team for that

I have installed XI 7.0 in my home PC.

Installation was done by a third person.

It would be difficult for me to catch him at this time.I doesn't know him!

Thats why I have requested SDN members to send it.

Why don't you follow the link and details which i have replyed you. Did you face any problem in doing that.

I can send you the same but the problem is size. The file which you want is of 66 MB.

Follow all the steps which i replied and you will get it. If you face any problem in doing that, let me know.

Hi,

You will have that software component created when you install XI, you need to import that software component from SLD to the IR and follow these steps if the adapters not displayed in your communication channel.

Follow the below steps:

1) Download XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz which is available in a zipped format from the SAP Service Market Place.

2) Unzip the contents and copy the file XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz (if you are using PI 7.0 or else download the file for your XI version) to

/usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import/

3) Goto Repository (Design)

4) Choose -> Tools -> Import Design Objects

Sorry for my above reply. Actually the size of file is in KB not in MB. and it is around 650KB.

Go to http://service.sap.com and download the SWCV from:

Support Packages and Patches -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP NETWEAVER -> SAP NETWEAVER 2004S -> Entry by Component -> Content PI/XI

Choose XI CONTENT SAP_BASIS 7.00

This will help you.

You need to import SAP BASIS Software Component Version into Integration Repository.

You need to download it from service market place.

In Search Term Enter "SAP BASIS <version>".

Now click on XI CONTENT SAP_BASIS 7.00 -

> SAPBASIS13_0-20000888.ZIP Just save this file on your machine and unzip it.

Now put this in the import directory: \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import\

In IR, TOOLS ---> Import design objects and import it.
