Hello Techies!
We are running different SAP products landscape (SAP ECC Landscape, SAP Solution Manager Landscape, SAP PI Landscape, SAP BW Landscape). At present, we are using local SLD’s for every individual server in above landscapes.
I would like to know, what if I use one SLD (SOLMAN 7.2 version) for all above mentioned Landscapes? Is it recommended to use one SLD across different Landscapes specially when we have SAP PI?
Regards,
Rabia
Hi Rabia Akhtar
First yes you need to create one CENTRAL SLD having the information from all the sources
Secondly link Central SLD to Solman
The recommendation is still the same that if you want a central SLD ..it should be PI and then it pass on information to solman
Central SLD in Solman is only recommended if you don't have PI system in your landscape.
hope this helps
thanks
