I am trying to implement Offline Adobe forms using Guided Procedures. I have created a template in Adobe Live cycle designer. There are no warning or errors and Preview is fine.
When I try to create a Interactive Form callable object using this template, I got the following error.
Could not retrieve template fields: Wrong document format or adapter mismatch from adapter
I am unable to find out the reason for this error. Please help
Versions:
Adobe Live Cycle Designer 7.1
SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SP14
Thanks,
Vasu
Hi Vasu,
unfortunately I'm facing the same problem, did you found a solution? I uploaded a xdp form in the callable object, it worked fine (all fields available). Now I tried to create the impersonalized form, but got the same error as you: Cannot retrieve template structure: Execution ended in an unrecognized state
Web Service Security for Client ...Config_Document: URL = Default, Auth: Basic, adsuser... If I test the webservice /AdobeDocumentService/Config I get the right response for user adsuser. The credential is installed correctly (I hope): File is available, settings in VA Document Services Configuration: Expiry july next year.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Benny

Hi Vasu,
I fixed mine! The Problem was in the webservice security config, for testing purposes i tried the configuration with SLD as the URL, after turning it back to default, a wrong url (wrong port) was entered. Now I turned it to custom and entered the right URL (simply changed the port). Now it works...
Thanks for your fast response, have a nice evening!
Benny
Hi,
I hope you are saving the template as XDP file.

Hi Vasu,
Going through the issue discussed,i would like to add my opinion.I had encounterd a similar situation.I guess the problem is with the credentials. Please try the following checks:
1.In the server \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global should have the folder" AdobeDocumentServices". ADS uses files from this folder. Please ensure there is no duplicate folder by the name.
2.Please check for the PKCS #12 credentials installation. Please follow the steps in the link.

3.Please check for " Configuring crednetial attributes" following the link.

The points 2 and 3 solved the issue in my case. So do try and update the thread.
Regards
Ashok
