Issue with alerts due to Key figure value equal to zero

Hello,

I am getting an issue with respect to custom alert.

I have set a rule which compares 2 key figure values on a monthly Period ID calculation level with a difference of + or - 10%

Ex. KF1 >= +10% KF2

KF1 <= -10% KF2

Now, in my planning view, I could see in one of the month, difference of KF1 and KF2 is greater than 10%. So expectation is to get the alert for this particular month only which is working fine. Along with this I am also seeing an additional alert for a month where the key figure values KF1 and KF2 are maintained with zero values. Not sure if this is standard IBP behavior. How can I avoid this additional alert generated due to the key figure values equal to zero. Do we have any global config setting available for this? Please provide your input.

Hi Guru,

we handled your question in an incident. According the advice, you can avoid described issue with condition: > 9.999 % instead of > 10 %.
