SAP DATA SERVICES 4.2 SP8 - Debugging a job causes error "Connection with job server is lost"

Dear All,

I have recently upgraded to SAP DATA SERVICES 4.2 SP8 and whilst executing a job in debug mode, it causes an error: "Connection with job server is lost".

The SAP note 2262896 - Debugging a job causes error "Connection with job server is lost" (Cf: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2262896)

corresponds exactly to the problem I am facing.

According to the sap note, the fix is provided in the following SP:

- BODS 4.2 SP05 Patch 4

- BODS 4.2 SP06 Patch 3

- BODS 4.2 SP07

However, it seems there is a regression in SP8.

Does anyone know which future releases should correct this bug?

Is there any offical SAP document for SAP DATA SERVICES I can refer to?
