Can you please provide the steps how you tired to install as there may be you would have missed the steps.

I have installed 2004s Java Trail wothout any problem in my XP Home SP2 edition.

Make sure your OS is having NTFS and if install Loopback Adapter and install J2sdk first and than try to install SAP NW 2004s Java Trial version.

    Thanks,

      Hello Ray,

you can adjust this value with the help of the ConfigTool.

      You'll find it under C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC01\j2ee\configtool\configtool.bat.

Start it and navigate to instance_IDxxxxxx -> server_IDxxxxxx.

There you can set a lower value (e.g. 512) for the Max heap size and in the Java parameters.

Afterwards please try to start the trail version again.

      Hope it helps.

    Hi,

I played with xms (256M, finally) and xmx (768M)...

    Now it runs on W2000.

Sorry for delay with replies to your messages.

    Ciao

    Ray
