FIORI Launchpad Notification - 401 'Unauthorized' Error

Hello Experts,

I have done all the necessary configurations for enabling Notification center in S4HANA 1610 system. I am able to see the Notification Icon on the launchpad, but the notification list or the count do not appear. Upon debugging the HTTP request, I figured out that the below request is returning 401 Unathorized Error. I have granted this user all the authorizations mentioned in the SAP Help using the templates.

When I execute the same URL in a browser, it is displaying the notification data without any error.

Any suggestions please!!!

Hi,

Just found that the notifications work fine in IE. I was trying in Chrome before.

This is the error that I could find in the chrome console.

Failed to load https://XXXX:44300/sap/opu/odata4/iwngw/notification/default/iwngw/notification_srv/0001/Notificatio... Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://XXXX:8000' is therefore not allowed access. The response had HTTP status code 401.
