Tenant DB connection to Hana studio

Hello Members,

We have a HANA express on HANA 2.0 on AWS, we are trying to connect the HANA studio to the tenant database, we were able to connect to the system DB , but are getting error while connecting to tenant db.

Have any one faced the same error before?

Problem is that the aws tenant sql port is 30241 instead of the standard 30215.

How do you connect to studio with a non-standard port?

Yes , i have checked all the ports are they are open ,i am able to telnet to those ports.

Hello Anthony,

I believe this most likely a firewall issue. Please check that the HANA tenant database is reachable:

TCP/IP Ports of All SAP Products

Ports can be a bit tricky with multi-tenant database containers.
