Greetings
I have downloaded the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Java Trial Version from the web site ([https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/downloaditem?rid=/webcontent/uuid/a62ad7fa-0a01-0010-3489-f3fc32658bd8] [original link is broken];
downloaded all 2 files - Developer Workplace 7.0 SP14SR3 Java Server Evaluation and Developer Studio 7.0 SP14SR3 Java Server Evaluation)
Verified that all pre-req are available and installed.
When executing the installation (sapinst.exe in the IM_WINDOWS_I386 directory) all goes fine, until you get to the Define Parameters section.
The wizard request to specify the path for "Developer Workplace NW 7.0 SR3", but any path that I specify, return an error stating that I need to specify the path with the correct label.asc.
(looking for a label.asc with the following prefix - SAP:DW-UT:NW04SSR3)
Any assistance where this is and why this is not part of the two files above?
Thanks
Hi Henk,
I came across the same problem, although it's likely that you might have solved this issue, as it's been a long time, I will just post this anyway, hope it will be helpful to others.
Assuming that the installer is in: C:\NW_JAVA_700SP14_SR3
(looking for a label.asc with the following prefix - SAP:DW-UT:NW04SSR3) -> the label.asc file containing this prefix is in: C:\NW_JAVA_700SP14_SR3\NW05SR3_DEV_WP_1\J2EE_OSINDEP\UT\LABEL.ASC
Basically we just look for LABEL.ASC scattered in folders like J2EE_OSINDEP, JAVA_EXPORT, and subfolders to get the LABEL.ASC with appropriate prefix asked by the installer.
Hope it helps.
Regards,
Arie
