Maintenance Work Orders Duration Report

Hello.

I need to do some reporting regarding Completed Work Orders, in particular regarding the duration of each work. There is a tab when you complete a work order called "Actual duration", this has the information I need but I was not able to display it as a column in either ZIW28 or ZIW38 transactions. I aslo tried IW47, I was able to display "Actual duration" but in that transaction I was not able to display as columns functional location and description (e.g. the text in the notification describing the issue).

To summarise I would need to have in the same screen: Actual duration, functional location, description.

Anybody has any suggestions?

Transactions IW37N or IW49N include the following fields:

• Actual Work
• Work Order Description
• Functional Location

Hopefully this will fulfill your requirement.

Filippo,

ZIW28 and ZIW38 are not SAP standard transactions. If these are your own customer-specific reports, then you will be able to change them to include the Actual Duration data.

The Acutal Start and Actual End dates/times are shown in the order header. Is this what you mean by "actual duration"? If so, then this data is included in IW39/IW49N

Thank you Peter for the answer.Actual duration is a specific tab where you can enter how much time you spent on a Work Order when you are completing it using IW42 transaction. This is what I would like to see as column.

But you can have multiple confirmations against an operation, and multiple operations on an order.

So do you want the cumulative actual duration at operation, or order header level?
