Hi!

1.Even though there is no PO created the system doesn't allow me to change PR. What can be the reason for this.

2. Is there any tcode like SCOT where i can trace if the PR has been sent for approval or failed

In the customizing for release indicators for purchase requisitions is an option to assign an changeability indicator, and in the same customizing is also a field for field selection key , a field selection defines whether fields are optional, mandatory, or display only.

the workflow can be monitored from SWI6

There are 2 specific PR which cant be changed. All the other PRs can be edited

we have still no magic glass bowl to see the situation and to compare it with other PR of the same release strategy to compare it. Without you offering much more details and screenshots we probably can't do much for you.

Now it would be good if you explained what magic you did, as this community is not just meant to drop question (because then nobody could find an answer), it is about knowledge sharing.

A question which is closed without telling what the solution was does not help anyone who reads it, it just waists the time of the readers.

Haven't made any changes to the customization. The only trick i used was entered Tcode ME51n and then opened the document(the document which i wasn't able to edit through ME52n) from there which helped me to make the changes and save

this sounds pretty much like homemade coding where the the transaction code is checked to get a desired behavior

Not sure on that part, as could edit other PR through ME52N.
