capture the prompt values entered by user to display in Excel


I have an analysis for office report that returns a table of financial figures.

The report is saved and re-used / refreshed by user and sometimes shared /distributed with non-AO users.

I want to capture the prompt selections (i.e. period, GL accounts, Profit center) chosen by the user to filter the report and display them in a new tab so other users know how the data was filtered.

I am new to integrating AO and Excel VBA so appreciate any help.
