Our's is a Ink Manufacturing Company and there's a requirement like: the particular ink color related documents (receipt, bill, SO, PO, etc) should be printed out in that particular ink color only. What do I do?

In the properties for each area and field in the PLD, you can go to the Color tab and select the color for the text, background, etc. Click on the "three-dots" selection button to pick the colors from the examples that are shown.

The answer you've given is right but I want it on run time. Say, for example, I'm preparing a Sales Order, I'm selecting the Ink Product and selecting the color Blue, then the sales order should be printed out in Blue Ink only. How can I do that without setting the properties in advance and do it run time?

Thanks for the answer anyways!

May be you could do it defining overlapping fields in the form with different color and conditionally linking them to the color value in the document. But it might be very awkward.

Thank you all for trying but none of the answer was of any help in particular.

I am closing this question after such a long time as I had all forgot about this.

Anyways, Thank you all once again.

I've tried it but it still is not working the way I want.

Any other help?

I suppose you could create multiple templates with different colors, and the user could select the one that would be needed for each order. But it seems like a lot of trouble to go through. Do you think the customers will really notice or care that the print color matches their order?
