Hello Experts,
We need to define storage bin types in EWM for about 300 entries, How can I do that in mass ?
Thanks,
Darshak
Hi,
you define one or more structures (in customizing), depending on your requirement, and create the bins with "Generate bins", /SCWM/LS10.
Uploading is for consultants who are to lazy to learn how to do it properly ;-). Or if you migrate an existing WM warehouse and do not try to improve your warehouse. Or if have have several bins all in different storage types. But if you have 300 of that, you probably have a more general problem.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Hello Darshak
ops, sorry, I did not read your question carefully enough!
There is no mass transaction for bin types, I don't know if there is any mass transaction for any customizing object at all. But there maybe my other usual answer to such a question would be: if you have 300 bin types, you might have a more general problem then how to create them.

Ah, but now I remember something. One part of the migration tools (migration from WM to EWM) includes the possibilities to upload bin types (and storage unit types to HU types). I did not try this yet alone, without all the other steps before, but it might be worth a try. Problem is to find out the CSV structure it requires.

Use T Code /SCWM/SBUP - Load Storage Bins by uploading a file
