Hi all:

I need to know how to empty all the tables in the SAP PI database that are related to sending messages and processing them, as if PI had never processed a message.

Is this possible to do? Thanks in advance and greetings,

Alejandro Gómez

Hi Alejandro,

If you want to empty(clear) the PI relevant tables, you need schedule the PI delete job to do it.

e.g. - SAP_BC_XMB_DELETE_<client> (Deletion job for XML messages)

- SAP_BC_XMB_HIST_DELETE_<client> (Deletion job for history entries)

If your PI is dual stack, both ABAP and Java, you need schedule the job both on ABAP and Java side, for more details, please refer to the note ##872388 - Troubleshooting Archiving and Deletion in PI . It is the central note for PI table reorganization.

Regards,

Liz
