Availability Check during STO creation

Hi Gurus,

I have 100 KG at an external supplying plant and create a stock transport order for 200 KG at the recieving plant. The availability check seems to run when I enter the STO quantity but I don't recieve any messages. I expected an availability warning about the 100 KG deficit,

is there any setting that indicates if stock availabilty should be checked on STOs ,Is there anyway that the system can prompt a warning to the person during STO creation?

one more clarification if someone can throw some light does STO order reserve the inventory from the outgoing plant and the delivery document is used to receive into the inbound plant if you can briefly explain how to config this will be greatly appreciated

Hi,

Do make a checking using MMBE or MB52 to check whether got stock in your warehouse or not before you making any STO.

Thats the safer way to confirm whether material got stock or not.
