Hi
In CRM 4.0 Service senario, while creating Install Base how to set the default value for Unit of measure(IBASE Component/Product unit).
It seems that the IBASE instance UNIT field is blank at present.
Please Advice

HI,

Dear Samantak,
Thanks for the Replay.
Actually user want the UNIT as it is defined in the Product master data.
User requirement:
During IBASE create/Change, as the product entered its corresponding unit will be automatically placed in UNIT field.
If at all is not possible then defined UNIT = 'PC' as default value for all the materials.
Hope it will be more clear now.
Please advice,

Hi,
I wonder how to put a default value in field Measurement Units when the transaction "commpr01" Product or "ib51" Creating IBASE, field of Counters, is executed.
In short, when transactions are performed would like the Unit of Measure field has come with the value "UN" set to STANDARD.
Thank you.
PS: The system is CRM7.0

Hi,
At the time of the creation of the IBASE you can create products as components. Then as you create the same you will see that the Unit box will be activated and will be editable for you to fill in the BASE UNIT OF MEASURE.
I have CRM 5.2 System. But hope that the same will be backward compatible also.
Thanks,
Samantak.
