BAPI to create Sales Order return with reference to Contract

Hello,

I am trying to create Sales Order return with reference toContract, but although the
order gets created, it does not contain reference document information.
The BAPI I am using is BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.
Would someone know which parameters I have to populate and what additional information needs to be sent to BAPI or have any other suggestion

how to accomplish my task?

There is a different BAPI for customer return, use Google to search for it. I'm not sure it'd work with ref to contract though, never tried.

When I did this - I couldn't find a way to make it work with the BAPI. I did have to create a BDC - I try to avoid those. There are some other answers out there. You can take a quick look at them.

The search I used was:

sap contract sales order bapi
