HSN Code is not updating while changing the Material master record.

Hi Gurus,

I am facing a scenario where I stuck and need your help,

In my system I have created a purchase order for a material where in the MMR i maintained HSN 99999, but due to business requirement i have to change the HSN code from 99999 to 14790 in the material master record, now in India Tab in item detail area its still displaying the 99999.

It is not get resolved if I copied the line item in the same purchase order, please help me how to get the correct update of control code in India Tab of Purchase order.

System stores the HSN code in table EKPO. EKPO table does not update if you change the MMR.

In order to fetch the new HSN code from MMR, you need to change the material code in PO (do not save), again enter the same material code as it was. This way, system will re-determine the HSN code from material master.

If you copy existing line item of PO, system fetchs all information from EKPO table not MMR.
