error for all fiori apps- could not open app please try again later

Hi Gurus, We installed S/4hana 1709 co-deployment, and ran all the relevant steps from STC01 for gateway way configurations.

1. SAP_GATEWAY_BASIC_CONFIG

2. SAP_FIORI_LAUNCHPAD_INIT_SETUP

3. SAP_GATEWAY_ADD_SYSTEM

4. SAP_GATEWAY_ADD_SYSTEM_ALIAS

5 .SAP_ESH_INITIAL_SETUP_WRK_CLIENT

Then required oData services additions and SICF services activations done,

added relevant backend roles as per fioriappslibrary...

we are getting the below error for all of the fiori applications from FLP.

    Hi Balaji

There are 3 main reasons why "Could not open app. Try again later" might appear:

    1. There are some ICF nodes not activated. ICF nodes are the technical entry point of a Fiori app.

    2. There are some OData services not activated. OData services provide the data and actions by communicating with the backend server.

    3. You are missing authorizations to run the Fiori app.

Your log shows several "403" errors . A "403" error is a classic indication that your problem is issue 1 - i.e. there are some ICF nodes not activated.

    e.g.Error: failed to load 'sap/gs/fin/lib/reusetaxinvc/library.js' from /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/glo_txi_reuse/~9653DC7441155B1F5904B35A3A773491~5/library.js : 403 -

I cannot emphasize enough the need to use the mass activation process via tasklists described in the Best Practices guide for Fiori Apps Deployment (MAD) using txn STC01. (NOTE you need to login with your S-id to download the guide). You also need to make sure you use the Aggregate button in the Fiori Apps Library to get the app's ICF nodes *and* any dependent apps as input for activating the ICF nodes using STC01. I explain the aggregation process in more detail in Role based app activation blog.

Fiori Apps Library is our most reliable source for this information - however occasionally you may find some nodes are missed. Usually we try to fix these - if there are any specific SAP Notes mentioned in the Support section in the Fiori apps library you may also find information re missing nodes there.

What the "403" message is telling you is that the "failed to load" component is not active. So you need to activate that ICF node also. You need to do this for any node that is showing the 403 error.

i.e. the ICF node with path ... /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/glo_txi_reuse

It's best to activate the node using the Task List using option SAP_BASIS_ACTIVATE_ICF_NODES

Why? Because the Task List logs everything you are activating and you can review that in txn STC02. So you can later work out what you needed to activate.

Also if you find this node was NOT picked up by the Fiori Apps Library please report that via a SAP Incident so that we can fix that for next time.

    Good luck and keep going!

    Jocelyn

For me, it looks like the problem with activating the SICF services.

Can you please verify if below are active?

    /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/glo_txi_reuse/

    /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/mm_suppiv_mans1/

Do you have web dispatcher in your landscape?

Thank you Bartosz Jarkowski for a short answer and thank you too Jocelyn Dart for detailed explanation.

I activated using the STC01 earlier by aggregating the services/OData from fioriappslibarary, any how the issue was the icf services and some of oData services...

after manually activating SICF and oData it looks good. then i ran a re-indexing on it, but i got the below info from the log:

after success ful re-indexing, at the end of the log i found the below lines:
