Max Billing Value

Hi,

I have to create Maximum Billing value( I will be defining an amount like customer A has a maximum billing value of Rs.10,000 and while i doing the invoice if the value is Rs.12,000 , the system should automatically split it into two invoices like one invoice for rs.10,000 and the other for rs.2,000.)

Is it possible through standard sap or any development has to be done for this. pls help

Hi

This can be defined at copy control from delivery to invoice or sales order to invoice. If the invoice is more than 10000 it will split.

Btw i think spillting on amount is not correct. Its better it is done on quantity. This is because if you base splitting on amount and there is a material with 1 unit and invoice is of 15000 then we will not be able to invoice differently as invoice will have decimal qty.
