Export to Excel does not work with Lumira Designer on BI platform

Hi guys,

I am using Lumira Designer 2.02 in combination with a BI platform of version 4.2 SP 04 Patch 3.

I try to use the "export to excel" functionality with the basic analysis template.

Therefore I use the compontent "Export_Excel" in combination with this script:

EXPORT_EXCEL.export();

Strange thing is, that in local mode, everything works fine. My crosstab is exported to excel.

As soon as I try it on the BI platform or on the targeted Netweaver portal, the following error appears:

I have already had a look at several notes, for example this one: 2460561 - Listing Microsoft Excel export feature as last statement SAP BusinessObjects Lumira

...but nothing really helps.

Do you have any ideas?

Hi Markus/All,

I have similar issue occurring in export functionality on BI platform, Does upgrading the Lumira to 2.3 SP1 resolves the issue?

The twist is this happens only for one User out of the entire User base. His local machine has Win 11 and latest chrome browser

We have just updated to BIP 4.2SP7 and Lumira Designer 2.3SP1 and our Excel export is working. correctly. We have one Lumira Server enabled. Maybe we can share notes? Feel free to find me on LinkedIn and connect?

Hi Marcus.

We have use two server node for our platform,the same to you?

Our sulution way is: close one of LumiraServer,we just need one Lumira Server. We don't know why,maybe the lumira server distibution resources have a bug.

Unfortunately this is not the solution for us. We are currently using only one Server node.

I know that Lumira 2.1 is GA since friday, but I do not know if I want to experiment with a very early version.
