For recording results in QE51n i have the requirement that digital signatures for saved results can be made with a fingerprint on an external hardware. SAP provides the SSF Interface and the option of an external verification.Which options does this Interface offer?

Thanks in advance.

That is more a BASIS question probably. SSF is a standard or protocol that is supported by multiple vendors of external verification hardware. The vendor and your BASIS person would be responsible for configuring this to work in SAP and make it available for use in your system. This is almost a separate project as it usually requires the installation or distribution of hardware to various locations, or to employee work areas to be utilized. Like retina scanners, fingerprint readers, digital key FOBS, etc..

Once that is done, then ANY module that can use digital signatures, should be able to configure that device(s) into their digital signature strategies. Its not really a function of QE51n or QM.
