Release status with price condition maintenance

Hello,

I would like to use the release status for price condition.

My business requirement is the sales people create new price condition (VK11). This new price condition must be 'blocked' until the sales manager releases it (VK12).

So, my questions are :

1) Is it possible to define a default release status (or processing status) when the condition is created (not added manually by sales people ?

2) Is it possible to forbid the release status change if the person hasn't the correct authorization to do that (new authorization object ?) ?

3) Perhaps the business transaction event 00503303 can solve the 1st question, but I don't fint it in my system (ECC 6.0)

I don't know it's possible (no clue in forums, sap notes or sap help), but perhaps have you an idea ?

Try Creating a condition type with your desired combination (ex sales org, dist chan, division, customer, material...etc) and Release Status. there is a field in field catalog for release status.

Then create access sequence and add this table and go to table fields where in u have Special Value Source. Try using this functionality. Havent tried any time but thot u can give a try. Pls let me know if it works.
