can't create DN for sales return order

hi,all

when i create a return order,i can't create a delivery note for it, the error message is: Copying is not poss.because an entry is missing in Table TVCPL: ZLR ZRE RE. can everybody tell me how to solve this issue?

Hi,

Please maintaine copy control for sales document to delivery document.

As you are using your own document types, there are no copy controles maintaine for your sales document type to your delivery document type.

Go to T. Code VTLA

This the t. code used to maintaine copy controls for sales document to delivery document.

Give Target Document as your delivery document type and source document type as your sales document type.

Otherwise you can copy standard copy control, RE -> LR

and put your document types i.e., ZRE and ZLR.

Now you can create return delivery.

Hi Lee,

you have mentioned in your question that U tried to create a Returns Delivery & u were getting an error.

Have you created the Returns order with reference to the Billing doc.If not, U need to create the returns order with ref. to the Billing doc(F2 or ZF2) & then create the Returns delv.

If u still face the same error message, then pls check the copy control between F2 to RE & then RE to LR.

Sorry, I have put copy control in vtla, LR->RE and ZLR ->ZRE,But the question is also exist!!!

The copy control from the order type to delivery type is missing. TVCPL defines this.

Pls. maintain in copy control in SPRO and it will work

You have created your own doc types,but forgot to maintain the copy control.

other words,

there are no copy control between the mentioned documents.

Please maintain copy controls bet, doc's or copy from existing one ( eg:RE-LR)
