How to define order type in sales area?

I deleted one order type by mistake, and then recover it , by there is error message show as: Order type "zre" has not been defined in dales area < HK01,01,01>. Can anyone tell me the detail how to solve this issue?

Hi lee,

If the problem still exists, then you have to define Common Distribution Channels and Common Divisions. The path is

IMG->SALES AND DISTRIBUTIONS->MASTER DATA->DEFINE COMMON DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS AND COMMON DIVISIONS.

hi,

make the the copy control settings are available between the order to delivery - VTLA, Item cat determinations maintained -VOV4.

Hi Lee,

You might have defined Distribution Channels and Divisions, but am sure you have not done the customisations which i told u b4. Please go through that path and maintain the Common Distribution channels and Divisions.

Hi,

There are lots of settings to do when creating new order types..

For example,

copy controls,

pricing assignments,

sales area assignment

item category assignment,

partner determination,

output,

etc

but Remember that if you are creating a new order type by copying a existing order type all settings need to do will also copied.

so always remember to create a new entries by copying from the existing one (closer one with needed) and make the changes which needed..

Goto OVAZ tcode and maintain ur entry there in the combination os sales area and sales document type.

use t.code OVAZ to assign your sales doc type ZRE to sales area.

Yes definately when ur creating a new document type u had to carry all these settings, in OVAZ transaction and in OVKK trncode and in copy controls and authorisations etc.,
