Unable to save emails in the sent items folder


Hello All,

I am facing a problem when I try to send a document via email.

I use the coontext menu and click on send to.

I type in the person's ID and enable the check box "save in sent items".

I click on send

I get an error message "Message has been sent, but could not be saved in the sent messages folder; check the mail server entry in your user mapping data."

I am able to receive the mail.

The email has been configured properly as the mails are flowing.

I have checked the user mapping and that is also fine.

Could someone tell me what the problem is? Is it a portal configuration problem or exchange server configuration issue?
