Assigning a Role

Guys,

I have a scenario where a Power User wants to assign other Sub users to different Roles in Production box itself without going into PFCG basically avoiding any Transport or Change Management process from Develop box----> Prod box.

Is this possible ?? can some one share their experiences?

You can make it ..

Ask your basis team to give the role to capable to save the web-template in production ..

If you've already had it, you can make it by go to public -> in role ..

Or ..

You can make it by save As .. then choose the role for the report.

Hi yes it is possible to create role directly in production check with the system admin.

I am using same methodology. But this role assiging authorization should not be given to end user or super user. This should be with BW admin only. These roles are difficult to understand as in some cases 2 roles are similar except queries in that roles. So its better to have this with BW admin.
