Hi,
There is a material for which i am maintaining a price condition type JCST/JLST valid upto a certain period. The sales orders generated within that period takes up the existing conditions. But later, even when the condition is changed the sales orders created earlier also are picking up the new prices.I have tried activating the condition exclusion indicator but still then the new price comes in.Please suggest.

Dear raja
For information, condition types JCST / JLST are not for material but for ship to party.
Meanwhile, I presume the issue is with pricing and not on tax conditions based on your comments
"picking up the new prices"
That is your requirement is whatever rates maintained in sale order, that should only flow into your billing. Am I correct??
If that is the case, go to VTFL, select the combination of your billing type and delivery type and click on "Item" tab on your left screen. Now select your item category and click on blue lens on top left. Now on your right screen, you can see a field "Pricing Type". Maintain "B" and retry.
thanks

Hi Laxmi,
Thanks for the guidance.
I do not want the existing orders to pick the changed tax condition type.Only the new ones created should reflect the new tax condition types. But whenever i change the tax conditions, the sales orders which are already created also gets changed. What do i do for that?

Hi,
When an order is created in backdate, the item is picking the current tax conditions and not the earlier ones existing on that particular date(i am referring to the pricing date). Please suggest what modifications i require to make in the sales order so that the item picks up the records existing earlier.

hi,
not sure why the old sales order conditions records should be updated. the only reason i can think of this updating the pricing type with the current condition records. Pl. check if there is any special routine or program for this purpose.
