When we are executing SPROXY from R/3(ECC 6.0)
Getting components ie connected to XI Integration Builder
But when we are executing SPROXY from XI Server , we are not getting connection to Integration Builder, Getting error message like No connection to Integration Builder (only generic data Visible)
Hi Satish,
Make sure that you are having the following RFC's successful from your ECC/BW system towards your XI Integration Builder.
1) LCRSAPRFC. - type T
2) SAPSLDAPI - type T
3) PI_INTEGRATIONSERVER - type H
Make sure that settings are done in SLDAPICUST tcode.
Check whether the ICM is running & HTTP port is active in SMICM.
please check the below link as well.. it will be more helpful.

Dino

hi,
just check whether follwoing TCP/IP connections(sm59) exist from source side
1)LCRSAPRFC.
2)SAPSLDAPI.
then go to sldapicust ,do the needful
execute sldcheck
execute sxmb_adm->integration engine configuration
3) compile check sxmb_adm.
now go for sproxy.
Thanks & Regards,

You cannot run SPROXY from XI server (XI ABAP Stack), technically you can but logically you cannot..
SPROXY Is always frun from the application System Like R/3 or BW,APO and so on...but XI is an Integreation Server so proxys are alsways run from Application systems to connect to Integreatino server....
Untill the Roles of the BS in SXMB_ADM--IE Configuration is not IS you can run Sproxy....
Dnt run it in XI it is not meant to be....
it will not connect till you make the necessary settings...
