How to import the license file?

Hi,

I just intalled vmware version of SAP Netweaver 7.0. I also have obtained the license key as a text file called ctb.txt. However, the following command doesn't seem to work:

saplicense -install ifle=ctb.txt

The error I get is "data in file ctb.txt incomplete (143/175)"

Is there something that I missed?

try use transaction SLICENSE

Thank you for your help.

I tried using SLICENSE. The problem I have is that the license key I received LKEY is a very very long string. The key that the dialog expects is very short. It actually truncates my long string to short.

I am clicking on "Install New License" to add the license. Am I supposed to do it from somewhere else?

Try

SLICENSE --> New License ( <F9> ) --> Install ( <F6> ) --> select your license File.
