Hello All,

I tried a lot to get a link/blog that expalin full scenario

for File to File Scenario with Secure Connection

Kindly let me know if somebody have link/doc for it

that describe all the steps to do configuring this scenario.

What is difference in simple words between

FTPS and SFTP.

Pls help it is urgent as I require for Project work urgently.

FTPS is ftp over a SSL (secure sockets layer) connection.

SFTP is not ftp but SCP (secure copy) commands (or similar) over a SSH2 (secure shell) connection

Pls let me know difference in FTPS and SFTP in very simple words If I need to tell my client because I am not able to understand still now.

My client asked me that he want File to File Scenario with Secure Connection

Hi,

are u using the file adapter type ...if yes ..

check with the attributes of the particular adapter it will contain the attributes related to the FTPS( like connection parameters) .. i dont remember particularly the names of the attributes... but if u go thru the attribute list, i am sure u ll make it. u just add the attributes and u can specify the respective parameters for that attributes..... and then u can easily explain it....

Hi Rahul,

In FTP adapter there is FTPS present.

But to use it I have read we require some certificate to be installed also some Java Crytographic kit also.

I have no idea for this process.

So do you have any link/doc that have full steps.

But all the features r to be given to you, to develop the scenario....ask ur admin about the required stuff....
