Hi,
I have a scenario where we have maintained a RFC connection to external system(Non-SAP) from R/3.
Idocs are transferred to this external system thru this RFC.
Whenever the network communication fails between R/3 and this external interface we get failed Idocs in BD87(Status 03)
However as soon as the network is back working the new Idocs are moved fine but the ones which failed remain in the system in error status.
Only after we manually reprocess these Idocs from SM58 -> Execute LUW do they get processed.
My question is how do we make this happen automatically.
We have already set Retry option in the RFC destination.
tRFC Options ->
Connection attempts up to task 120
Time between 2 retries 5 mins.
Please guide us.
Regards,
Hello
Why don't you fix rfc issue permanently. Other option report RSARFCEX may be can be started in background.

Rajan

Hi,
have a look at BDA1 (report RSARFCEX).
Running as a recurring job you can have tRFCs being retried as often as you want.
Kind Regards
Theodor
