Adding Text to Position through BAPI

Hi,

I am trying to add text to a position through JCo by using the BAPI_CUSTOMERQUOTATION_CHANGE. I filled up all the columns (except the function column) in the table QUOTATION_TEXT and then set the update flag to U in the QUOTATION_ITEM_INX after filling in the position number too.

The position number is also filled correctly in the QUOTATION_TEXT table. When I switch remote debugging on and check the parameters being passed, everything is right. Inspite of this, the text for the position does not get updated.

Anyone have any idea what I might be missing/doing wrong here?

Bye,

Sameer

P.S - Incidently, the adding of text to the document itself (header text) works wonderfully. But as soon as I add the position number in the QUOTATION_TEXT table, it doesn't work.

Fixed. I was setting the parameters wrong - the text-ID was sent over in a wrong way from my program to the R/3 System.

    Hi,

although I can give the text over to SAP, the text as it is saved in SAP, loses all formatting that I have built in.

Any idea about how I can go about the formatting problem?
