SXI_CACHE problem

Hi All

I am having trouble with my cache.

When running transaction SXI_CACHE, the Start Delta Cache Refresh and Start Complete Cache Refresh options in this transaction is disabled(grey'd out). Has anyone experienced this problem and how was it fixed please.

Is this the newly Installed system? SGEN IS DONE?

what's the user you have logged on what roles you have to that user?

check this roles u have

SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER

SAP_XI_IR_SERV_USER

SAP_XI_ID_SERV_USER

Hi

What happend was that a homogenios copy on our ECC system was done from our Prod system to the QA system. Now the cache is giving this problem.

I did add the roles, but no change.

can u explain me which system you are runing this TCODE? ECC or XI?

did u try to login with PISUPER and try?

Hi

I am running this transaction from XI, not from ECC, although the same problem exists in ECC. I usually has the red flag in ECC which was correct but not looks exactly the same as XI.

Did u try with PISUPER and PIISUER any luck with these users?

Tried to run it with both the users, without any luck.

I ran the http://host:port/CPACache/refresh?mode=full using PISUPER, this is successful, but still no luck.

With These users it delta refresh button should be active...try restarting the server if you can.

Because all the roles are present, if it is newly installed then most of the optin wouldnt have compiled so we cna try with SGEN.

When you goto SX_CACHE--XI RUNTIMECACHE header do you c the delata refersh disabled there also?

when you enter F6 and Shift F6 worrking from keyboard is anyting happending on screen?

Just restarted the XI server - no luck yet.

On the runtimecache is still showing disabled.

When running F6, and shift F6, nothing happens.

Any other ideas - it almost seems like a auth problem. I will quickly regenarate some xi roles and see if this help.

thats good option....regenereate those roles specifically.
