SAP Screen Save prompt on EP

Dear All,

I have found the following save screen being promopt on EP when a particular iview is clicked in EP.

The screen is as follows.

File Download

Do You want to save this file?

Name: tx.ssd

Description: Unknown

From: <url of portal>

Below it wll have 2 buttons for save and cancle.

**********

I think its not deciding the with what program it should open that file.

i.e. it should open the file with SAP.

Pl. provide the appropriate solution for the same.

    Hi,

    This shows it is some .ssd file. Check for the file extension from google and install appropraite software for opening this file.

    Only when the client machine doesn't have the required software, you may get this popup.

      Hi Purav Mehta,

      Can you please tell me what is the solution. One of the user also having the same problem.So I am lookig for the solution.

      Also I am trying to understand Nikesh Shaw response. I am not sure end user need to have entries in host file. Becuase some user do not have entries maintained in their host file.Can you please clrify me.
