I hope somebody can help me find a solution for this. I'm trying to run a Select Statement that ignores the case sensitivity of the value stored in the database.
For example table BUT000 has field NAME_FIRST. One record has NAME_FIRST = 'Gene'.
If I run the statement:
WHERE NAME_FIRST = 'gene'.
This statement will return 0 result.
Same thing happens when I change to 'GENE'.
Is there a way to turn off the case sensitivity of SQL statements? Thanks for the help!
