Hi Experts,
Could you please let me know why Oracle is preferred than DB2 for SAP Installations.
Can anyone give the top 5 - 10 reasons for this.

it's all depends on OS platform and company's budget for license of database

it is a advertisement for ORACLE , you check the oracle site then always get Oracle is better, if you check IBM site might be you get DB2 is better
DB2 is universal database if you have AS400 platform you can not use oracle.!!!
in short you can not compare between two DB , generally peoples prefer platform which they have used to
