Request process in SAP

Hi,

Can anybody explain me in detail how generated requests after customizing are transported from one client to other.

And how SE09 and STMS tcodes used.

once u save a prompt screen will come then in screenu will find a button as create own request >click on that and give the desc. then press enter system will genrate the request by assigning a internal no. to it

after creating request goto se10 and release the request number.

then give this number to ur basis consultant and he will do the necessary job.

Hi,

You have to release the request in SE09.Before releasing the request you have to release the task's under that request.

After releasing the request you hav to inform the basis person for transporting the request.

Why system creating one header and other sub request.

And I also want to khow what basis guy doing after getting request no.

Header is the main task & other is sub task..

Once we release our request, Basis will get these requests in their internal workflow and will be imported to the specified client..

Hi,

In SE09, you have to release the requests ..

you will see two requests one at Header and under which one Sub..

you first seelct the sub & click the Truck button & Save

then select Header request , click Truck button & Save..

Then just mail the Request numbers to Basis Team, They will transport them to Another client..
