Merger of two SAP Companies

Hi all,

there are 2 companies already running on SAP planning to merge. ( X has acquried the Y company) .

X company has DL- Dealer Channel customers,pricing records maintained accordingly.Similarly in Ycompany, they have both Dealer & Institutional Channel also.

Now when both comp's r merging they want to migrate this "IN" channel into "DL" channel.

what would be the possible impact in X company?

Can they even club & maintain single pricing procedures (earlier they are planning different pricing procedure, some of the condition types also different).

Any Idea?
