E-Recruitment Documents in Livelink Archive Server (external content rep)

We are using Livelink (previously IXOS) Archive Server as the single point content repository for all SAP HR documents in our system; thus replacing the SAP Content server as the repository.

In order to integrate E-Recruitment with the Archive Server, I created an custom HTTP content repository (Document Area HR_KW using Tcode OAC0) and made the storage category HR_KW_STOR point to this custom Livelink Archive Server content repository (through Tcode OACT).

I tested out the integration by creating a new Requisition and attaching a document to it. The document gets uploaded and all the information entered in the requisition (requisition details, job posting details) also gets transfered to the archive server. However the reference code while publishing the job does not get transfered to the archive server.

Any idea why this happens? From what I understood HR_KW stores the documents as well as the search profiles etc. Shouldnt it store the reference code as well?

Since the reference code is not stored in the Livelink Archive Server (or maybe coz of some other reason), searching for jobs through Apply_Direct does not give any returns.

Is this because I missed out on some configuration steps? Do I have to make the TREX explicitly point to the Archive Server or does that happen by virtue of it being defined as a HR_KW repository.

Any help is gratefully appreciated.

Thanks and Regards
