Hello,
We have problems printing on a Japanese device. Our SAP system is the 'english' version of SAP. No unicode installed. Version 4.6B.
Printer is a Fuji Xerox DocuColor 400 and has only japanse module installed. This can not be changed (apparently). We want to print (english formatted, arial/helve) invoices in batch.
In the supported devices note, this device is supported and HPLJ4 must be chosen.
We can login into the webinterface of the printer and what we try, every spool request is in the queue of the printer, but does not print. The printer is saying 'is printing' but does not print.
We tried different drivers: JPEXPOST, POST2, JPPOST, JPPOST2, JPXEROX but every print is not printed.
We think this has to do with that the printer is Japanese. Extra language module installing seems not possible.
We are thinking to send a 'english' device to Japan to get this to work, but I think this should be possible somehow. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Hello abhinay, thank you for the document.
Unfortunately we can not solve this unless we go to unicode. We have tried several times, but the device is specific Japanese, not possible to add extra languages etc. Maybe it is possible but it is hard to communicate with some local network guys which don't understand what you want
But for the moment we have to wait to go for unicode. Call set to answered but is in fact closed.
Hi Peters,
Why dont u change the fonts and use japanese fonts
