Scenario of Plant maintenance - Internal ( service)

Hi Expert,

Can any one share , the Scenario of Plant maintenance - Internal ( service) for contro key PM05.

For that what are the keys to assigned to in the PMO5 control key, and Is in any service master to be created ?

Hi charles,

This is same as control key PM03 so the normal procedure. We have to put the services in general tab of operation in order then PR will be triggered and PO will be generated by a purchase then service entry sheetservice acceptedinvoice reciept.

Thanks for ur Reply, actualy Internal service ( PMO3) and External service ( PMO5) is Lot of Difference, is It Right ?

Internal service - Service required by inter dept only , we sent a equipment like motor is sent to Electrical dept in our company for servicing , for that it is no need for PR and PO .

But External service is required PR and PO , as u said here.

ya you are right internal services don't need any PR or PO they just need confirmation of operation.

just like if you are moving motor from one dept to other dept PM03 key just need confirmation of operation that required service is provided

well in case of PM05 key the complete cycle of order will run. Just like if motor is need to be procured then PO PR TECO and have to follow the complete procedure

Thanks for your Reply, What iam understand in ur points are,

Service cost for the equipment is not be involved in the order, but only material cost and man power cost cost ? am i right?

If the materials Required for service, then we can use the PR , based on that PO, for The PMO5 key.

But If the materials are not required then what is the Use of PR generated in the order ?can we leave PR without Processing?

HOw to know the man power cost ( HR) because service done by other dept ?

Man power cost:

Create Electrical dept as Work center. assign the activity type to that work center.

If you follow the system then it is nessasry to generate PR. If PR is not generated for the PO then how will responible person dept or etc will come to know that this task need to performed.
