Info Upgrade Crystal Report 2016

Good day I own the Crystal Report XI R2 version I would like to purchase the latest Crystal report 2016 version can I purchase it by upgrading the license or need to purchase a new license?
Can I convert all the old reports made into Crystal Report XI in 2016 without having to recreate them? Crystal Report 2016 supports the UDF extension and IDAutomation barcode fonts (they are used in Crystal Report XI). Waiting for feedback, thank you
