MDG C/S -DRF Replication working as expected but errors in the SLG1.

Hello Experts,

We have MDG Customer & Supplier running as expected in our system. After the CR is getting approved, Customer / Supplier is getting replicated to the target system. However, if I check the SLG1(log), I can still see the there is list of errors on every CR activation.

When the CR related to Customer got activated, then there is an error in the SLG1 which says "No Corresponding Supplier could be found for Business Partner &".

In case of CR related to Supplier got activated, then there is an error in the SLG1 which says "No Corresponding Customer could be found for Business Partner &".

Please see the below screenshot of the error.

Replication is working fine as expected in the system.

In the Replication Model for Data Model BP, both the replication models are activated.

How can I restrict the system to stop looking for Customer / Supplier if the CR is for Supplier / Customer respectively ?

Have not seen this documented anywhere but let me share our observations :

Your replication model/Outbound implementation has both customer and supplier. Regardless of what you replicate (customer/supplier) the replication model will keep looking for both customer and supplier that may potentially be linked to the BP being replicated.

As an example .. when you replicate a customer via MDG CR - the replication model will look for both customer and supplier - it does find a customer but does not find a supplier (because there is no supplier linked to the BP)

When you trigger a customer via MDG CR you get a supplier error

and

When you trigger a supplier via MDG CR you will get a customer error.

If you have a BP that has a Supplier and a Customer - you would not get an error.

I think, this error is because of CVI (Customer Vendor Integration) mapping.
