LSMW TAX classification for materials

Hi!

I read a lot of threads concerning these topic, but I couldn't solve my problem.

I have more than one tax classifications from different countries for one material. However I don't know, where I should enter the data cause it's just possible to enter one country in BMMH2.

Until now, I mapped the data to the fields TAXM1...TAXM9 of BMMH1.

The result of the Direct Input: "You have not fully maintained the tax classifications"

I guess, it's not necessary to map to TATY1..TATY9 of BMMH1. Right?

Nevertheless, with and without these fields mapped, the message is the same.

..and should I map the same fields also in BMMH2?

I tried it, but without any effects!

Should I enter different countries in separate data sets?

Tax classification data consist of TAXM1..9 and TATY1..9

Which fields are also necessary?

Thanks in advance!

Michael Kuehne

    Hey Murugesh!

    I solved the problem!

..and primary I figured out what the reason was.

For our Tax classifications we also need TAXM2 and TATY2.

However, not for all of them and that's the problem, which can be solved with the following coding for the mapping:

    if Q002-TAXM2 is not initial.

    BMMH2-TAXM2 = Q002-TAXM2.

    endif.

If a tax field is mapped and the value is empty, you got the message: "You have not fully maintained the tax classifications"

Thanks a lot for your help

    Kind regards

    Michael

Thank you very much. I mapped only one set of TATYP/TAKLM of the structure BMMH1 and I was able to load the MM. I think it doesn't work to map other sets of TATYP/TAKLM and keep them blank, like we do with other fields, if we don't want to load them.

    Oh, I guess, I got a brainstorm!

Probally I should mapped a separate structure and file respectively to bmmh2, which contains for every entry in the tax data table one data set.

However, in this case what's the sense of the taxm1..9 fields of bmmh1?
