Performing Actions Before the Beginning of the Downtime using SUM

Hello All,

We are applying support packs for SAP NW 7.4 java system with High availability(MSCS fail over) system. OS windows server 2012.

We need to perform any settings before downtime phase in MSCS fail over or we can continue like same stand alone systems with out doing any manual changes .
